VuSpex GO represents a significant advancement over its predecessor, providing a completely restructured platform tailored for modern inspection needs. The old VuSpex app is no longer available, and users are encouraged to transition to this updated version.

Existing users can seamlessly log in with their current VuSpex credentials, eliminating the need for account creation if one already exists. This application is specifically designed for Contractors, Field Agents, and permit applicants to facilitate virtual inspections, generate field reports for inspector review, and schedule both in-person and virtual inspections.

Please note: This application is not designed for use by Inspectors.

Main features of VuSpex GO include:

• Receive SMS invitations from Inspectors
• Engage in virtual inspections with Inspectors
• Create and submit Field Reports
• Request both face-to-face and virtual inspections

Notable improvements have been made based on user feedback:

• A redesigned interface that enhances usability
• A new, more efficient codebase
• A thorough overhaul of Field Reports

The feature formerly known as Offline Inspection has been renamed to Field Report, with several enhancements, including:

• A step-by-step guidance process
• Progress is saved as users work
• An improved permit search function
• A summary view of what will be sent to the Inspector
• Access to stored Field Reports on the device for easy viewing and submission at any time
• The ability to select "Send Now" or "Send Later," along with auto-testing connectivity
• Staged uploading that displays each photo and video as they are transferred
• Color-coded icons indicating the status of reports: in progress, saved/ finalized, and sent
